In a recent tweet, Food Pharmer shed light on a concerning trend in Indian packaged food, revealing that it is not just restaurants we need to worry about when it comes to our health. According to studies, India's packaged food has the most sugar, salt, saturated fat, and calories compared to other countries.

As Food Pharmer pointed out, "Most Indians think we are getting sick because of eating at restaurants. But we eat at restaurants only around 6 times per month on average, which means we eat at home the remaining 84 meals per month." This raises questions about the quality of packaged food we consume daily.

The alarming truth is that India's packaged food has been found to have more sugar, salt, saturated fat, and calories compared to other countries. A study analyzed 4 lakh products across the world, revealing that Indian packaged food takes the top spot in these unhealthy categories.
