The Rushikonda Hill Palace in Vishakapattanam has left many wondering about its extravagant features. According to recent tweets, the palace boasts an impressive array of amenities, including 200 chandeliers costing ₹15 lakh each, a cosy interior valued at ₹33 crore, and imported furniture, spa facilities, jacuzzis, and advanced sound systems.

The palace's transformation from a tourism department-run resort with 58 rooms to a luxurious residence-cum-camp-office with just 12 rooms and several conference halls and chambers is sparking controversy. The residential part of the property features a ₹40 lakh bathtub, while the landscaping surrounding it costed a staggering ₹50 crore.

Although Ex - Chief Minister Jagan Reddy had initially planned to move his office here, TDP's intervention put an end to those plans.

As the debate surrounding the Rushikonda Hill Palace continues, one can't help but wonder about its future use. Will it remain a personal residence for the Chief Minister or be repurposed as a tourist destination? Only time will tell.
