A fresh development has emerged in the ongoing NEET exam paper leak scandal. According to media reports, the Bihar Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has identified 13 students who paid money to get their hands on the NEET paper a day before the exams.

As per sources, a 56-year-old junior engineer, Sikandar Kumar Yadavendu, was detained and later confessed to his role in the conspiracy. Yadavendu revealed that he met Nitish and Amit Anand, operators of an educational consultancy, at his office in Patna, where they hatched a plan to leak the exam papers.

The scheme allegedly involved students paying for the leaked papers, which were then studied and memorized before being sent straight to the exam hall the next day. The EOU's investigation has led to the identification of 13 such students, with four having been arrested so far.

As the NEET scam continues to unfold, questions are being raised about the involvement of educational consultancies in such schemes. It remains to be seen how this development will impact the ongoing probe and what measures will be taken to prevent similar cases from arising in the future.
