Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, @ChouhanShivraj, recently inaugurated the National Pest Surveillance System (NPSS) in New Delhi. This initiative aims to empower farmers with crucial information about different types of insecticides and pesticides, enabling them to protect their crops from harmful effects.

The NPSS is designed to provide farmers with real-time data on pest management, helping them make informed decisions to safeguard their yields. With this system, farmers will be able to identify the most effective methods for controlling pests and diseases, reducing crop losses and increasing their overall productivity.

In addition to the NPSS launch, the Central Government has also released 109 high-yielding, climate-resilient, and bio-fortified crop varieties. These new crop varieties are expected to boost agricultural production and enhance food security in India.

The National Pest Surveillance System marks a significant step towards modernizing Indian agriculture, providing farmers with the tools they need to thrive in today's fast-paced agricultural landscape.
