The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has made a significant jump in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking. According to recent tweets, IIFT has improved 12 ranks and now stands at 15th position, up from its previous spot of 27th in 2023.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted the importance of IIFT's role in developing future leaders in international trade. The institute has been recognized for its efforts in providing quality education and research opportunities, which have contributed significantly to its improved ranking.
In addition to its academic excellence, IIFT is also exploring options to expand its presence globally. The institute is considering commencing an offshore campus in Dubai, with support from the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
