The Indian Navy is set to witness a milestone with the passing out parade of the fourth batch of Agniveers at INS Chilka. 1390 Agniveers, including 216 women, will take part in the ceremony.

The Indian Navy is all set to witness a significant milestone with the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the fourth batch of Agniveers at INS Chilka on August 24. The ceremony will be reviewed by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff.

A total of 1390 Agniveers, including 216 women Agniveers, will take the 'Antim Pag' or final farewell from the hallowed portals of INS Chilka. Notably, along with the Naval Agniveers, 330 Coast Guard Naviks will also pass out on this occasion, making it a momentous event for the Indian Navy and the Coast Guard.

The Passing Out Parade will be conducted by Vice Admiral V Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command. The ceremony will be witnessed by proud families of the passing-out Agniveers, as well as eminent veterans and sports personalities.

This momentous event marks another important step in the journey of the Indian Navy's Agniveer scheme, which aims to attract young talent into the armed forces. The ceremony is expected to be a poignant moment for the graduating Agniveers and their families.
