The Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched a range of schemes aimed at empowering women and children across India. These initiatives have been grouped into three verticals: Saksham Anganwadi Poshan 2.0, Mission Shakti, and Mission Vatsalya.

Saksham Anganwadi Poshan 2.0 is a program designed to promote the overall development of children by providing them with nutritious food and education. The scheme focuses on ensuring that every child in the country has access to quality education and healthcare. Under this program, anganwadis (child care centers) will be equipped with modern facilities and trained personnel to provide holistic development to children.

Mission Shakti is another key initiative aimed at empowering women by providing them with skills and training to become financially independent. The scheme focuses on promoting entrepreneurship among women, especially in rural areas, by providing them with resources and support to start their own businesses. This program will not only empower women but also contribute to the country's economic growth.

Mission Vatsalya is a comprehensive scheme aimed at ensuring the overall development of children, particularly those living in difficult circumstances. The program focuses on providing these children with access to quality education, healthcare, and nutrition. Under this mission, special care centers will be established to provide support services to these children and help them become productive members of society.
